Description

Learn Basic Japanese【Mastering Giveてあげる, Receive てもらう, and Do for てくれる】From Basics to Practice

Creek & River (C&R) will hold a seminar on November 9th, Thursday, “Mastering Giveてあげる, Receive てもらう, and Do for てくれる”

In the third seminar, we will study “to receive something”, “to give something to you”, and “to do something for you”.These expressions are actually difficult to learn to use naturally. Do you know when to use these and when not to use them?

In this seminar, we will start by explaining the concepts of “uchi” and “soto”, which are important in understanding “receive”, “give”, and “do for a person”. We will confirm that the listener is willing to give the item to us.

We will then organize the sentence patterns and meanings of the main themes, “to receive,” “to give,” and “to do for” using example sentences. Take the practice questions and master the te form + give/receive expressions.

In the second half, we will consider the functions of “to receive,” “to give,” and “to do for” and consider when to use them and when not to use them, using actual situations. In addition, you will learn the frequently used honorific expressions “~te ageru”, “~te morau”, and “~te kureu”.

This seminar is for beginner to pre-intermediate students. Let’s further practice the Japanese knowledge we have acquired and aim to use Japanese more smoothly.
